I feel like their plan is too make it too expensive to buy and then just shift permanently to digital.

also, just a pre-release price. it will come down. there's also normal blu-ray and dvd, which are cheaper and will come down too, before the actual release.

Sony just announced they will stop making physical media (blu ray etc.) as of February. But you still have tons of other companies that do and Sony will license the rights to it's films for production, they would be fools not too. There are still a lot of people who prefer physical media to streaming. But unfortunately it will be all digital decades from now. The newer generations will mostly know only digital and the ones after them will only ever know digital. It's just the way it goes.

also, there is a steelbook that is a little bit cheaper, right now, than the normal 4k if you wanna go for that. $38 vs. $44.

I don't think Sony is ending physical media yet. That's the way things are going though, sadly.

It's weird to think, but for like say Jason's kiddo, I bet the only DVDs she ever knows will be from his collection and the used market, like cassette tapes and shit for us now.

Reign, the people are shitting on Mad Mel’s movie. You’ll have to be the guinea pig for us.

The Hulk Hogan cameo was fun though. :P
Dante only agreed to make Gremlins 2 if he was allowed to do whatever he wanted. That's why it's kinda batshit compared to the first one. He was let off the leash and had fun with it.

I'm not even a fan of the film, but I still say "dishes are done, man" every now and then after finishing something.

I'll believe it when I see it. There has been talk of a Labyrinth sequel for ages, so I expect this to go nowhere.

Excuse me? I am hearing the scenery in the movie is absolutely breathtaking. And if that's enough for Jeremiah fucking Johnson to be carted off to GOAT status, make way for Mad Mel and the Alaskan wilderness shining off of Marky Mark's balding dome, god damnit.
