Let’s say we’re doing a top 20 and five of us are drafting. We’d each get four picks spread evenly across the draft (let’s say I get picks 1, 9, 15, 18 for example). We start at 20 and work to 1. Everyone has one veto they can use after someone’s pick, either to knock a movie off the list or attempt to play it higher. When your pick is vetoed, you have to play another title at that pick but you can also play that title later with your next pick so a veto can also backfire.
Oh, "drafts" didn't register in my head when you mentioned the website. That's pretty sweet.

Why don't we actually do that on here? Could be pretty sweet.

Or you guys can all do it since I think most of you have seen more Disney/Pixar movies than me. I can just randomize picks or whatever.

Love to. This is something we can do with endless categories too.

If more are interested in “drafting” the top 25 or whatever number Disney animated movies, we would need at least three people but if we can get 4-6 that would be ideal. Maximum gamesmanship and veto chaos.

My immediate thought was, "I'm going to need a lot more than 1 fucking veto with this lot". :P

I mean if everyone acted in good faith, we'd be good, but then you'll have guys like Jiggy who gots to throw something like Storm of the Century in "just to get their stuff in", and then we can't get the shit stain out the bed.

I come by, nice picturesque beautiful morning, look at the pristine sheets we've made. And there's the shit spot right in the middle of the bed, just saying hellllloooo. Fuck.

Tom Brady is not making a top 20 QB list if I'm involved. Just a heads up. :P

I’d play him at like 5, let you waste your veto and then play him at 1. 8-)

I thought if you use one veto it means that person/movie is out for good?

And is the list of 20 established and then we order them or is there no list at all?

No, when you veto it means that movie can’t be selected with that pick. It can be played at any later pick.

All animated titles would be eligible.

Could make it two vetos per player, but everyone gets one override they can use to stop a veto of someone else’s pick.

A podcast I used to listen to did this exact thing. Like Top 20 aquatic horror movies or top 20 giallo.

Oh yeah that’s Screen Drafts. They did both of those.

Lmao. That played out too funny in my head, that exchange between you two was more like:

Headward: Okay so there's this kick ass movie Fight Club, here's the rules of Fight Club, Project Mayhem, all of it, and this is what we're gonna be doing.

Tigg: That happened in a movie I saw once. Rule #1 is don't talk about it, right?

Headward: Yeah, movie is Fight Club...

Tigg: That's the one!
