Tom hasn't past yet he is on life support.

They're not officially reporting his death, is what I'm gathering. I'm not about to get excited. I'm still assuming death.

They're just pissed TMZ beat them to the jump, which is understandable. TMZ's tactics are dubious at best but they're rarely wrong.
