Basically,as long as you are voting for a DNC approved candidate and/or they win, everything is fine. If one of the two DNC approved choices do not win, your vote would be tossed in the trash.

Yeah. And then they pull out the paper with your name on it, and about 50 other names, where you can see everyone's name and whether or not they voted yet.
For example, I saw my parents voted before I did in this midterm election. Most other names on the paper hadn't voted.
