Watched Shock Waves and Killer Party, each for the first time, today. Didn't love either one; thought Shock Waves was the better of the two.

Just got back from Smile. Pretty good, but felt it stuck too close to Ringu/The Ring template so I don't feel like it really pushed anything in that arena, expect maybe getting me to not want to punch Kyle Gallner in the face. I think he's finally grown out of that punchable face he used to have.

Deadstream has been entertaining. Probably the only horror-comedy found footage I'm kinda liking (I recall not liking Found Footage 3D), mostly because I get exactly which youtube streamers they're making fun of lol.

Just watched this. It's the best horror comedy I've seen in recent years, as it mixes the horror and comedy well, rather than just being a comedy with a bit of blood.

Anybody ever seen Deadtime Stories? Bought it to watch for October and it was a fun anthology film with 3 horror reimaginings of Goldilocks, Little Red Riding Hood, and a witch themed story. It's aware of its cheesiness which made it extra fun. Nothing amazing, but a pretty fun ride and the theme song is cool as shit.

Didn't watch anything yesterday. Also might be getting a job in the coming week.

That said, I still aim to get 62 movies in, so I'll be trying to catch up over the next week.

Watched Blood Slaves of the Vampire Wolf (1996) earlier. Not as good as it sounds, I promise. :P

Story is shit script is shit. It makes a C+ by the skin of its teeth purely because of the violent kills.

I'm gonna run through a bunch of mediocre Halloweens today before Halloween Ends, I guess to help keep expectations low :P

In the middle of Halloween 4 right now.
