According to this article AOC makes $175,000 annually. And has a Net Worth of $30 Million.
When she was elected to office a few years back she was nothing but a waitress. Now, DC is a super expensive place to live and secondly it's impossible to have a net worth that high on a $175K salary. So, either the article is full of shit or she's getting kickbacks

My main problem with taxes is, it needs to go to shit that actually helps citizens and what they want. And I live in a state that has completely obliterated any notion of that. Slammed that bar so far into the ground you can't pry it out.

it would be cool if there was some way to opt in or out of whereever they were going to use the money they collected from you individually. i don't think that is something that could be implemented well without a lot of headache and complication though.
