Re: NBA 2017 - 2018
There aren’t any great teams in the East either. You’re not wrong but it says more about the East. Houston and Golden State are the only great teams left in the league. Things might be different for Boston if they had Hayward.showa58taro wrote:Nah. Disagree there. 3-10 in the West would challenge for top spots in the east.Headhunter wrote:The West isn’t what it has been for most of the past decade. Two great teams and a lot of okay ones. Really not that great. Denver loses to teams like the Mavericks and Grizzlies, they’re a mess.Jason wrote:Homie, the Nuggets have one of the youngest starting lineups in the entire NBA, Millsap has been injured pretty much all year, the team is barely out of rebuild mode, and they're still keeping up with the toughest Western Conference we have probably seen. The 3-10 seeds can swap at almost any moment. For a guy who hates Trump, you're pretty quick to jump the gun and fire everything in sight. :pHeadhunter wrote:They shouldn’t, because the Grizzlies are fucking awful.Jason wrote:They always beat the GOAT teams then drop one to below average teams.Headhunter wrote:Why are the Nuggets losing to bad teams like the Grizzlies when they’re trying to make the playoffs? Not a good idea.
They struggle against the Grizzlies, though.
Time to get new coaches if a Murray/Harris/Jokic/Millsap core can’t make the playoffs. The city of Denver has no patience for losers. Get your shit together, Jason.

Portland and OKC are good teams and a cut above the other 6 playoff contenders but overall this group just doesn’t compare to the West of 5-10 years ago when the Spurs and Mavs were both great, the Lakers had Kobe/Gasol and OKC actually kept its great players.

Individual player-wise the NBA is as good as I can remember but not a lot of interesting veteran teams. A lot of slopped together messes.

Cleveland's 64 points in the half would be impressive if not for Toronto's 79.

Even more than GS or Houston?Jason wrote:Toronto may be my most hated NBA team.
Re: NBA 2017 - 2018
I shouldn't say "team". Their current executive (Masai Ujiri) ditched Denver for Toronto after Denver's best season ever and caused the whole team to fall apart. He won executive of the year, George Karl won coach of the year, Ujiri left to Toronto for more money, Karl was fired and the team collapsed and hasn't recovered until now, and still likely won't make the playoffs. I still blame him. Toronto doesn't have any players I don't like, but I will forever root against any team Ujiri is associated with because he is a backstabbing piece of shit.

Cleveland gets the win. Fun game. I hope they play each other in the post season.

Nugs should have paid him what he was worth. Your anger should be directed at Kroenke.Jason wrote:I shouldn't say "team". It is, but he didn't have to be a little bish about it! Leave a team in shambles and shit. Fuck Kroenke too.

Ain’t his job to hold Denver’s hand after finding a new job. They should have had a plan.

They did. They already agreed to a contract extension, then he interviewed with Toronto.
Re: NBA 2017 - 2018
Warios actually have a chance to advance past the first round with the overrated Curry riding the bench for the duration.
Safe to say my prediction of Curry being soft, injury prone, and falling off the map efficiently was a... slam dunk. Really should've traded him before the 2016 season like I said. His trade value was so much higher back then.

Yet another game lost thanks to missed free throws in the double digits. So frustrating.
