Anyone not black who uses the n-word (especially in a place where strangers can hear it) should expect to be called out for being a fuckin' idiot.Jason wrote:Anyone NOT BLACK who takes offense to the n-word needs to be slapped in the fuckin' head.Jmac Attack wrote:Hope ya liked it. What'd you think?DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Mid90s
Pretty darn good. Ended a bit abrupt though, as I was sort of expecting some kind of epilogue, but pretty good.Reign in Blood wrote:What'd you think?DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Mid90s
Yeah, but I guess he wanted it to be like another day in the life type of thing.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Pretty darn good. Ended a bit abrupt though, as I was sort of expecting some kind of epilogue, but pretty good.Reign in Blood wrote:What'd you think?DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Mid90s
Alli asked if I got all nostalgic of the era, and I was like "not really, for skaters they listened to an awful lot of hip hop shit. Must be a California thing."
Actually my skater crowd didn't do the party stuff either. I guess we were just too much of a minority in our area.Reign in Blood wrote:Yeah, but I guess he wanted it to be like another day in the life type of thing.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Pretty darn good. And it was definitely nostalgic for me, right at the same age and similar area. Not so much hip hop though.
Watching it right now. About 30 minutes into it. Pretty good so far, and Zack is doing a great job.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:For that title, it does kinda play it safe for a serial killer movie.
Overall pretty decent. Seems like it could've been pushed further. Not as tonally uneven as reviews seemed to claim, and of course the dark comedy in it never goes well with critics anyway.Jmac Attack wrote:Watching it right now. About 30 minutes into it. We are enjoying it. About 1hr 15 minutes in. I agree with you about pushing it further. Acting all around is aces.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Overall pretty decent.
