You'll wish it was even longer. I always do.

Though it was short, Caliban Cove was pretty lame I started dragging my feet reading it, so I finally finished the other day and now onto Dark Tower 4.5: The Wind Through The Keyhole.

If you didn't like Wizard & Glass due to the halt in plot development, I'd recommend skipping Wind Through the Keyhole. It was written after the series was done and is pure backstory.

Yep I'm aware it was written after the fact. It's also much much shorter than Wizard & Glass, so I don't feel like I'll be as annoyed.

Finally finished Diamonds are Forever. This was a steep drop in quality from the previous 3. I liked the Tiffany Case character but little else.

Man, I haven't done any reading since I started Wind Through The Keyhole. Not that I"m not into it, just my mind won't let me focus on just reading. Hope it's just a phase.

Yeah first time reading. I watched the miniseries once in the early nineties but all remember was a guy riding a bomb

Oooh, then you're in for a treat. Like the miniseries, the first half is better, but it's still my favorite book.

Totally forgot about Wind Through The Keyhole...
Yeah...I'm not into it at all. The shift to first-person perspective is a strong dislike too. Not a fan of 1st person, and I'm usually okay when King does it, but feels wrong here.

It's a completely unnecessary book, so don't feel bad if you skip it.

Finished all 9 novels in the James Ellroy-verse, now waiting for my copies of Don Winslow's Cartel trilogy, which I've heard are incredible.
