For any curious, here's my ratings of the first seven movies:

F13: 8/10
Part 2: 8.5/10
Part III: 7.5/10
The Final Chapter: 8.5/10
A New Beginning: 8.5/10
Jason Lives: 7/10
The New Blood: 7.5/10

So while it's not a series I absolutely love, I'm obviously a fan. Still haven't seen The Final Friday, though.

honestly it is the low-budget quality photography, heavily edited kills, and the goofy dad-resurrection that keeps what otherwise would've been a really solid entry down. Even the type-face on the end credits reek of made-for-video quality.
