just looking through the library catalog and found killer party. that's kind of a deep cut. someone else in this town must be a fan of the horror cheese too!
Or they are no fool and know the righteousness that is White Sister.
two things can be true at once.

Just came from the cinema, watched The Substance. It’s got a good goofball factor I b was not expecting, with a toon of body dysmorphic gore. Feels like some on here might appreciate it.
Jason has seen it 18 times already. Too much talking for Jiggy.

I have seen a few movies past 1929, you know.
95 years of underwhelming crap.
Some of it's been okay. My Bloody Valentine, The OG Blob, Iced. Everything else though - prolly mid tbh

Going to start up Silent Night, Bloody Night (with a print that, according to comments, people can actually see, so looking forward to that) shortly, but was going to do some quick shopping first.

I've had a DVD of that in a slim case from Walmart for more than 20 years and when you open it it smells like rain.

Barely remember the movie.
Honestly, I don't even think it's that bad (though on the slow side, but that's sort of par for the course for the 1970's). It's just that it's in public domain, and pretty much every print looks like shit, which obviously doesn't reflect well on my movie.

That said, I've not seen it in probably ten years, at least, so I may be wrong about how good it is.

You're wrong about how good many movies are.

adoration seems to be another good movie that isn't a good horror movie. but maybe the horror will pick up during the last forty.
