I have two different blu ray box sets (two, because I'm dumb with money and movie collecting) of the complete House collection. The first two are great. I have yet to see III and IV but hear there is a significant drop between the first two and last two..

It's so crazy that the one guy I might argue is better at movie scores than John Carpenter is the guy that did the score for John Carpenter's version of The Thing.

This viewing will basically decide which horror movie is my 4th favorite of all time. Either this one or The Evil Dead.

It's above The Evil Dead. I even bumped down Black Christmas a spot so The Thing could have #3.

Ending the night with The Fly (1986). Been a minimum of 10, maybe 15 years since last seen.

Love the series, but House III is kinda shit. House IV isn't great, but at least it tries to tie into the first film.

I think it's just that it's the most famous scene of a dude singing shit Karaoke for a girl. At least Cruise and O'Connell tried to throw down, all Cusack did was hold up the boombox the lazy fuck.

That scene should of been cut from Scream 2 it just doesn't work in the film. Cutting room floor stuff.

Get out of my head! I haven't given it the deep thrust thought, but I'm P sure my Top 5 now would be A Nightmare On Elm Street, The Exorcist, Black Christmas, The Thing and Evil Dead 2. The Thing could be #3, but I did the tradition of Black Christmas at midnight on Xmas Eve for so long it beats the Thing in views pretty damn good.

And I am dubbing Friday the 13th the Dan Marino of horror series, it doesn't have any entries that can crack a top 10 list. A lot of the other franchises do, to Phantasm and one could even argue newer stuff like Saw, but sorry mongoloid, just didn't get it.

And even John did some tinkering with that score.

Was curious where Final Chapter stood, so I filtered my Flickchart to just horror, and it ranks #28 all time for me. So I have 27 horror movies ahead of it. Still my favorite franchise though.

All F13 films are enjoyable, can't say the same for NOES. Anything past Dream Warriors will put me to sleep.

I can't think of a single thing enjoyable about Jason Goes to Hell other than Freddy's two second cameo, and fuckall in Jason X. At least Freddy uses a damn Power Glove in Freddy's Dead. "I got my high score"
