No, they can't under any circumstances. They're just not very good.

Nightmare of a series for Damian Lillard. Sheesh.
Nice to see my boy Jrue Holiday playing at a high level though. Really like this Pels team.

I take that back. He probably never unpacked in the first place.

I'm talking about a 1/100 chance.

Zero. Zero out of 100. That team as constructed has no chance. Westbrook is too much of a wild card, there aren't enough shooters and Carmelo Anthony is terrible.

1/100. They locked down the 4 seed in the toughest Western Conference known to man. Any one of those 8 teams have the capability of winning the title, so long as they have their season peak at this moment. The Rockets are struggling against the T-Wolves. It's really anybody's Conference, at this point. My bet is still on Houston, though. G.S. #2 if Curry stays sidelined.

Not even close. Please do not misconstrue Denver's failure to make the playoffs with it being the toughest Western Conference ever. It really wasn't.

lol. Alzheimer's much? I've been saying this was the toughest western conference since like 40 games into the season...

Alzheimer’s does run on my dad’s side of the family. I will probably get it, yes.
The West is two great teams and a bunch of meh. Portland and OKC were the other top seeds and both are jokes. Stop it.

Runs on my Mom's.
Two excellent teams and a bunch of very good teams.

The West was better for a good decade from 2004-2015ish. It is so watered down now.

I think we've just been spoiled with teams that separate themselves at a significantly higher tier than teams that are absolutely solid.
The east is watered down.

The main point here is OKC never had any shot at all. Absolutely none. They blew their wad in a Hail Mary atrempt this year, but it’s basically been one fuck up after another since trading Harden. They could have been a dynasty but the owner went cheap to save on the luxury tax bill, pissed off KD, now they're left with the third best player from that 2012 core who is really hard to build around because of his style of play and who other players hsve fared much better playing without. Westbrook pissed a lot of the value in his game away chasing stats and it sucks to see.

The East isn’t watered doen, it’s just been bad for 20 years. Every now and then a special team pops up.

Some how Wizards tie up the series. John Wall is amazing he really is the heart and soul of the team. I wish I could shake the "its all pointless" feeling I always have for NBA playoffs. Maybe if the Cavs lose it will help.

I'm going to reinvent myself as a lifelong Warriors or possibly Rockets (ask me in June), Crimson Tide, New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Penguins fan. I'm fucking tired of losing.
