My grandma’s rags to riches story: got an education in California, worked at Sears and met my grandpa who was a store manager, became his side piece through two different marriages (one ending in messy divorce, the second ending when he killed his wife driving drunk), waited until the one year anniversary of the second wife’s death to get married and then never worked again. And my grandpa didn’t stop fucking everything that moves until my dad was well into adulthood. Love is beautiful!
