Seeing sportsmanship take a back seat to excessive celebration and shit talking definitely kinda sucks. We've integrated pro wrestling promos and drama into real world sports. Pretty lame imo. If you can't get excited at the sport itself and need all the soap opera theatrics then maybe you're the one with the problem. That's what John Mellencamp threw a fit about. That shit just wouldn't fly 20-30+ years ago. Of course he's gonna take exception to the newfound theatrics of sports hype. But at the same time John Mellencamp has turned into an angry and insufferable dick over the years so there's that too.

My grandma’s rags to riches story: got an education in California, worked at Sears and met my grandpa who was a store manager, became his side piece through two different marriages (one ending in messy divorce, the second ending when he killed his wife driving drunk), waited until the one year anniversary of the second wife’s death to get married and then never worked again. And my grandpa didn’t stop fucking everything that moves until my dad was well into adulthood. Love is beautiful!
