The dead pixel in one of the cameras being used for The Babysitter Must Die is pretty annoying.

Spirit Halloween: The Movie was okay. It was pretty much a longer Goosebumps story, as expected, but with surprisingly cheaper FX lol.

I think that's it for me today with new-watches. Now I've got Killer Klowns on.

Saw a Spanish film from 1975 - I believe it's best known under the title Darker Than Night or Blacker Than the Night (though my DVD copy reads More Dark Than the Night) - that was damn good. Finale could have been tweaked a bit, but a very atmospheric film.

Admittedly, Son of Frankenstein is better than I remember from my youth.

It's also longer than I remembered.

The Mummy doesn't really seem to be holding up to what I remember.

Literally don't remember the last time I watched Creature from the Black Lagoon in full.

Julie Adams might be the hottest gal of the Universal Monster era.

I finally watched a rewatch, and really enjoyed it. Cube is still delightful.

Watched The Pope's Exorcist and Ma for my commute today. I liked both. Was more surprised by Pope's Exorcist as I was expecting garbage, but it was one of the better possession horror flicks this side of Exorcist III...though probably still not better than The Rite. Pope's Exorcist does get a little silly at times, but it also doesn't seem like it's taking itself too seriously. Plus Crowe actually seemed really into the role, having fun with it, and it's always good if an actor seems like they're having a good time.
Ma was pretty decent, though fell short on pushing things all the way, imo, like it didn't know if it wanted to be PG13 or R, and I really felt like I needed more background input than what they gave us.

Revisited Terror Train, and can now confirm that I do find it more enjoyable than Prom Night. As you were.

It's almost 3AM and I'm starting up One Dark Night (1982). New watch. Meg Tilly, Adam West. Same director as Jason Lives. A potential hidden gem here. Gonna be pretty tough to beat The Sentinel for new watch, though.

Beyond the Door was a trip of a movie. The first half had me, i was dialed in. But the last act fell hard into exorcist rip off territory, and then the ending kicked me in my metophorical balls. 8/10
