I really enjoyed that one the last few times I saw it. I distinctly recall thinking that the movie should have been longer, but it's been some time since I saw it last. Hopefully it stands up reasonably well.

John Carpenter's Vampires

I really enjoyed that one the last few times I saw it. I distinctly recall thinking that the movie should have been longer, but it's been some time since I saw it last. Hopefully it stands up reasonably well.

It was a production that was notorious for actually intending to be bigger, but budget was slashed in half so it got scaled down. I enjoy it quite a bit, and it's pretty influential in my book. Though In The Mouth Of Madness is the better film, Vampires is the more rewatchable from JC out of the 90's.

I have no issue with folks applying their own views to movies, it's art, we see what we want to see, but I hate when they feed us this shit as though it's what the filmmakers intended.
