Put on Winchester (2018). Not expecting much, but didn't want to scroll too long.

Are you talking about this one? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082991/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

A Hong Kong movie with just 27 ratings?

That's hardcore. :P

Dang, is that Dee Wallace as the security guard. I don't like her as a brunette. *shakes head* Nope!

There's been nothing else to really offer in this so far. I know it got trashed by critics when it came out, but they're usually harsh on horror. This is probably as bland as they come...

Going with Rodan (1956) next. The beautiful Japanese color will be a pleasant pick-me-up following the drab black-and-white from Dementia 13.

Winchester could've been a lot better had it been an anthology about the ghosts in that house, rather than not knowing what the hell to do, kinda talk about them, and not go anywhere.

I think I saw a trailer for that one, and it struck me as incredibly generic and by-the-numbers. Looks like my gut feeling wasn't far off.

It doesn't even stick to the by-the-numbers, it's just making it's plot up as it goes lol. But yeah, blandly generic still.

I'm also *this* close to just refusing movies with Jason Clarke in them. The only good one that I recall was Zero Dark Thirty, and he was a supporting character.
