I liked it. The main girl is obnoxious, but she is supposed to be. They wrote her character with Pet Detective era Jim Carey in mind. Ending was predictable. Lots of laughs though.

I think I could enjoy it well enough. And did laugh a few times. But it is still an awful film. I think critically there’s not enough humanity kind of under the surface of either character till line an hour in. Also Spade throws in classic Spade one liners from a character bereft of that capacity.

Although I will say I kept thinking Nick Swardson was Nate Torrence. They are clearly twins.

He gained a ton of weight. There is even a joke about it in the movie.

He has gotten pretty big. Seems his defining trait per IMDb is to be the annoying sidekick in mediocre films these days. Bit weirder

Last Drive-In: Exorcist III

Trying to watch that was a pain in the ass on the firecube/shudder app. Fucking thing just kept crashing as the internet kept going down, but wouldn't just simply pick back up when the internet got back on....no I had to both unplug the cube, and the router, to fresh restart both, to get the damn app working again.

Holy fuck.

That said, supposedly there's a new router available from AT&T that they're probably going to send.

Proximity. This movies all over the place, but not in a bad way, it's just fucking weird. Started off like a normal alien abduction film, then took a left turn into crazy town, and now it's playing like a comedy. I have no clue where this is going, but I'm interested.
