I have a really nice DVD box set of Dead & Buried, but the overall picture quality is not great. I've spoiled myself with bluray.

Jack Albertson was diagnosed with colorectoral cancer several years before this movie and kept it private. He wanted to continue to do acting. I think it's cool when celebrities preserve their private lives.

My guy Christopher Allport really is the most unfortunate victim in this movie.

This movie completely came back to me as I continue watching. When movies have big plot twists and OMG moments, even if I like them, I'm not inclined to give them extra points, but with this one, the whole movie leads into it the entire time. So great.

It's hard as hell to get an 8 out of me for any movie but now that I'm watching the gems for the end of the month I've been giving out 9s like candy.

That's a nine-four for Dead & Buried.
Robert Englund's best movie and greatest role! (jk)
