But it doesn't work fine. Every one of those other nations applies tariffs and changes tariffs against us. When we do it, it is suddenly a problem? Trump has exposed the flaw we have lived with for too long.

We have tolerated trade deficits, nations not paying their share in world defense and humanitarian efforts, etc. I am so happy we finally have a president who cares about the citizens of the US.

Trade deficits are irrelevant. And you’ll recall I highlighted years ago how little you spent on humanitarian efforts.
