It's a sad thing to see, but this is where we're at in society now. Nothing we can do about it but let these people be miserable.
Not much right wing stuff is worth watching, tbh.

I was really saddened to see the behavior by fans over the shudder thing last night. The reaction was horrible and ridiculous. Their servers got overwhelmed.
We could have taken that moment to celebrate, and sure, be disappointed, without the hyperbole about losing customers forever and how incompetent they are, etc. Bunch of losers who have never done anything who will never understand what it takes to do something of that magnitude. I saw a small company putting in the effort, and they did not deserve that.

I think I shared this at the time, but my business has done Chicken and Dumpling Night's occasionally at a local gun club. They can get kinda big, so I encourage pre-ordering. Well, the day of I have like 80 orders, so we plan on maybe 200 people over the course of the evening. Well, over 200 show up in the first few minutes and they keep on arriving.
We are apologizing while we make them as fast as five people possibly can. Some people waited three hours in line. Obviously, that sucks. Well, everyone who pre-ordered I was able to reach out to and I contacted every single one of them with an apology and two free meal vouchers they could use anywhere we are. Some of them STILL bitched and moaned and complained online for days. Did we deserve criticism? I suppose so. Could we have done things different? You always can. If you are not some giant organization you tend to have limited resources though.

it was seen as destroying what we love and turning it into a girl, essentially. which is more or less the same gripe being used against star wars too. so yeah. it comes from both political spectrums, so you put that to rest.
Yeah, there is a general feminist agenda at play. ScarJo was just pressured to not play a tranny in a movie because the "fans", wanted a real tranny.

yeah, i see a lot of backlash and criticism in the secondhand. granted it's mostly toward entertainment figures and it's not something i see happening to anyone in person. so much more indirect, but it sucks. it's even to the point that if you don't like (or dislike) a movie or whatever exactly the way you should, then you'll get ripped apart, you'll get threatened, doxxed, whatever. it sucks.
