I quit F13 and jumped into Nioh and dismembered a fuck-ton of low-level peons.

I got Horizon Zero Dawn

Resident Evil 4 on PS4.

I just got through one of the most intense rooms in the castle with no ammo (except the occasional drop) so most were killed with the fucking knife. This is the room where you have to do all the cranks, and those cultists just keep fucking coming. Luckily rifle ammo dropped for the follow-up part. I'm shocked I didn't die.

Amazing game. Only played it for GC, though. Have you played both? Any major differences?

The more I play Horizon:Zero Dawn the higher it goes on my favorite games list. Seriously good RPG

Yep, played both. I think the PS4 version was slightly more streamlined, but mostly the same. The biggest difference I noticed is the random button mashing on the GC version (mainly during the knife fight) isn't as bullshit Simon Says random on the PS4 so I managed to pass that section much easier.

Uncharted 4

I was looking at PS4s about 6, 7 months ago or so. Saw a bundle for 250 bucks with Uncharted 4. Almost pulled the trigger, figured I'd wait until it got cheaper since I wasn't in the mood for games at the time, anyway.

It went up 50 bucks since then.

Really? Damn. That is a weird trend for gaming. Maybe riding high on inflation and the endless jobs created recently but still seems a bit weird to jack up the price of new consoles. Admittedly nothing new on the horizon st the minute for that so makes sense.

I watched Mark play both of those for hours.

Metro: 2033 and Last Light have an excellent story and atmosphere.

Shadows of Mordor was a great bit of delving into the mythos of the ring and I liked the fact that if you got killed the creature that killed you got more powerful.


At least tell me you didn't really give up 30 seconds into either of them and gave them a fair chance to see how the story develops?
