I've been a little busy on my end. Working full time at a Salvage yard, and putting in part time hours at the local drive-in on the weekends... plus doing the family thing, plus house hunting, plus doing stuff for The Horror Syndicate. I'm starting to get overwhelmed.
Crazy Ralph needs a break
Or a nice family getaway to the Overlook....
I'm sure they're taking reservations
I would like to visit the Stanley hotel one day though.

It would be cool if there was some amusement park version but the general public doesn't like horror stuff.

Only during halloween season, at best

If Ready Player One would have done better

Aye, got a message that my prospective editor is behind on previous work, so she hasn't been able to give me an estimate yet on cost. I mean, I don't wanna rush my book, I want it done right, so I'm not gonna rush her, but come Wednesday it'll be a week waiting on an estimate :/
And this person's cool, and local, so there's a local-support thing I'm trying to do too.

I read that really slowly. I'll cross my fingers for you.

It's not the timeframe for the actual editing, it's the timeframe of determining a price lol. She asked for a sample 10 pages, which I did, so she can get an idea of my "voice", which is cool. I guess I'm just more annoyed with her previous client swooping right back in and cutting me off

An agent taking me on would be nice, but after the 5 rejections, and silence from the others, I'm gonna have to do it the hard way.

It's not Shakespeare but it's not bad at all. It's definitely on par with any Buffy stuff.

And, if I remember right, you only beta read a 2nd draft, so it's been polished up since.

Nice.
I don't get to cook steak much, let alone use my nice Dalstrong steak knives, but felt nice this afternoon.
