Yeah. Even Ridley Scott's bad movies are still well made and mostly watchable, even if I don't get around to 2nd viewings.

But this really didn't need a sequel.

Have heard there is actually really strong buzz about the sequel.

As far as the need for a sequel goes…I’m not in the business of saying we should have less cool Ancient Rome shit. I wouldn’t care if there is zero connection to the original.
Not removing until John Elway is fired.

Zero connection may have been the better way to go, IMO, but I think the biggest thing that isn't getting my interest is the lack of a charismatic & compelling lead. It's like they have Maximus by Temu front and center.
