It is not acceptable to watch Jumanji with your intermission. Maybe some Guns N' Roses, but that's it.

The Rock really needs to get out of the jungle/tropical setting. Half his damn movies, Jumanji, Jungle Cruise, Journey, the Rundown, Moana.

I don't know what I'm putting on after, but after that one it's off to D&D!

Pretty cool knowing Gregory Peck tried to get The Jungle Book nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. He resigned his presidency after failing to get them to consider animated films for the top prize.

I believe it’s the first movie after Walt died so I can see that.

Jim's hair probably wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for that rat-tail.

And I don't remember jim's Mom being hot.

I understand certain fx, and even backdrops, but interacting with objects that are very obviously CG that don't mess with the rest of the style was always jarring for me.

Capt. Emelia is how I picture Catfolks in D&D (also Thundercats), not the full on furry full cathead thing 5th edition has now - that has no bite attack mind you (seriously, full jaws, no bite? wtf).

Esmeralda doesn't get her proper respect as a Disney chick. I blame gypsy prejudices for this

Also Topsy Turvy is a great Disney song which this film needed after that first Quasimodo song. That shit sucked!

I think my hold-up with ranking Hunchback higher is Quasimodo being Disnified in the first place. It's so weird with him all sappy and singing. I still like it, but that's always been a nitpicky hangup.

I'm surprised Michael Wincott didn't have more voicework under his belt.

Its got everything I want in a Disney movie the only thing weighing it down is some of the songs are horrendous
