This movie is the polar opposite of Aladdin as far as having a smile across my face nearly the whole time.
The wise pairing of Dame Judi Dench and Roseanne was no good?DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:34 am Home is a pretty easy plummet to the bottom of my flickchart list, by a good margin.

With Disney films it depends on the movie. As I stated earlier, I was mainly talking about their old animated shit. I.E. Bambi is obviously geared towards little kids but, Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983) is not. Disney is a mixed bag given the vast amount of IP they own these days. But I was specifically speaking to their films that were made with kids being the main targeted audience.
i don't think bambi is only for kids, even. but that is the reputation.Lazerus wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:41 amWith Disney films it depends on the movie. If you have not seen Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983 version) then I recommend that you watch it. Assuming you can find a copy on DVD or it's available on streaming.zombie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:43 ami don't think bambi is only for kids, even. but that is the reputation.Lazerus wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:41 amWith Disney films it depends on the movie. It's like when you go from Disneyland to Disneyworld, Tigg's mind is blown! Lmao
i saw it long ago. it is weird that neither disney nor hulu has it to stream though.Lazerus wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:50 amIf you have not seen Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983 version) then I recommend that you watch it. Just an assumption on my part but ... I believe Disney is ashamed of the film which is odd considering the content they have on Disney + and Hulu that is rated R and even more violent than that movie. I mean Daredevil Born Again is defiantly not for kids lolzombie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:54 ami saw it long ago. it is weird that neither disney nor hulu has it to stream though.Lazerus wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:50 amIf you have not seen Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983 version) then I recommend that you watch it. It's because Kirk Douglas's production company Bryna bought the rights. Disney, who has more money than god, must think the film is such dog shit it's not worth to buy back for it's library.zombie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 11:03 amwell, in that case.. they can remove mr. boogedy to free up some space.DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 11:00 amSpace/demand, most likely.zombie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:59 ami mean that's as good a guess as any. i think it's got to be something else.Lazerus wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:55 am
