The Beatles are actually probably a top 20 band for me.
i don't know where they rank exactly for me, but that's without decade exclusion. and i'm weird.
What's decade exclusion?
even though we're doing a draft excluding the 90s here, i still take that decade into account when i rank bands.
I'm not going into this draft trying to make it look like a top rock bands list from Rolling Stone magazine. We all have our favorites that differ greatly and they're gonna be all over the place.
agreed. but the banter is part of the fun.
Just don't get too mad at me. :P
mad is overrated. :P

Come on D, what a more beautiful way to use your override than sticking it to the Beatles! For old time's sake!

29 is not awful, to be fair. Rolling Stones magazine would put a hit out on me though I'm sure.

Indeed. You and Head clamored for only 30 and were like "you only get five picks. Better make em count".

So we get Free
Still don't get it. "Picking 30 is too hard and is hurting my head" they say... Now I know why! When you're scraping the heap searching for Free, my head hurts just thinking about it too.

A forgivable typo. Head suggested top 30 but meant 300. I could go for that. I could have got Billy Squier in that top 300.

I’m glad I played Free. Very underrated. My agenda is to keep some of the more laughably corny boomer bands off the list.

There’s just no way to make it work in this format.
Makes more sense to haggle it out quietly. Maybe two players want to veto and they get into a Mexican standoff to see who blinks first.
That's the only one where I can see pulling rank/rotation. Most the time, let's just get the no veto out the way. But if there is a standoff, which we have had, that's where I can see "Nah, you gotta show your cards first, zombs" to see what happens. But we can't be following the rotation for every step unless we are all on.

Billy Squier would be such an embarrassing pick. Genuinely one of the worst artists of all time.

I understand this take if you've only heard like 5 songs and only the hits.

It was a great call to use Billy Squier’s music in Billy Madison just to illustrate what a dork Sandler was. It doesn’t work with actually good music.

Listen to Thru The Window and tell me that isn't a top tier 80s synth night driving jam.
