Sadley the younger generation might be so used to modern special effects that they cant watch something made before 1990. I'm on a big classic movie kick right now spurred by watching so many older horror movies for the Challenge.

there are a lot of great classics that even someone like foo won't watch, so there's that.

Today's young adults are totally different because they spent most of their formative years only being exposed to select things. They get to pick and choose every hour of entertainment.
I spend the first two hours of my working day listening to the following:
- ear drum busting rap with some dude so auto-tuned it could be anyone
- a conversation about Drake
- A conversation about Kanye
- a conversation about which rapper would win in a fist fight
- a conversation about $200+ sneakers that are $200 for no particular reason
- someone whining about getting bbq pork on either those sneakers or their equally overpriced workout clothes they wear as fashion
- a conversation about "drifting" with their front wheel drive Kias
everyone is exposed to "select things". your employees seem to be exposed to the wrong select things.

I grew up with a handful of TV channels and no internet. There were times where you were choosing between The People's Court and Wheel of Fortune or reruns of What's Happenin! It is not like now where you can immerse yourself nonstop in the same things.

Black and White, with Ed Wood being the exception.

I am an uncultured buffoon who idolizes Vince McMahon. It should not be all that surprising. :p

I list Bay of Blood among my favorites. Not anything foreign, but I would jab a fork in my eye rather than watch something like Amelie.
I also liked the 1960's Batman show and The Munsters.

bay of blood is good stuff. i'm not as fond of the rest of the stuff you mentioned liking though.

This is insanity, all Disney owned properties get sucked off like no other by the media, and the only female woman property of DC. Coincidence all others by DC get buried? Pfft
It didn’t feel long to me. Strange.
I think DC are struggling for an identity.
They had an identity, critics just mauled it, so yeah they're struggling for a more pleasing one now.
