You should give it a watch, it is one of those movies though, that I get the vibe that people really like it or they hate it. It is a Stephen King film so if you enjoy his stuff you may enjoy Graveyard Shift.

who is the director? (i probably could go look it up. ) some of my favorite horror is from stephen king stories, but it depends more on who is involved with the movie version.

some of my favorites are carrie (1976), 1408, misery, and cujo. and i loathe the shining. (at least, from what i recall)

Ralph Singleton, Andrew Divoff is also in it.

I loathe Carrie but like the Shining, so there is another difference in our horror film taste.

Saw it in theatres. Was really enjoying it until they botched the prom scene. They botched it hard, and that's the moment that makes Carrie!
