The Crowder stream is pretty awesome. They're doing their bottom 5 worst movies right now. You bros should watch.

Good stuff.
Alright, I'm out. Time for a horror marathon. No work until Wednesday.

The only two movies from 2017 I liked (that I remember watching) are The Babysitter and Happy Death Day.zombie wrote:picks for 2017 horror... best picture, best actor, best actress, best director, best screenplay?Jason wrote:Good stuff.

Re: March 4th 2018
I've got 8 movies for 2017 (counting 47 Meters Down and Raw, though places count them as 2016 cause festival bullshit).
Do need to add The Void, and give Happy Death Day a try.

Re: March 4th 2018
If Raw counts I might put it above IT. Maybe. Really dug Raw. Bitchin score, too.
I admire Happy Death Day because it knew its role and embraced the fact that it wasn't spectacular and joked about itself. Not amazing, but it knows it isn't and deserves a try.

Re: March 4th 2018
i wish happy death day had been more appealing. meh.
Re: March 4th 2018
hoping tragedy girls is good though, and lives up to what i thought happy death day could have been.

Re: March 4th 2018
I'm gonna continue to revisit and watch horror movies on the regular. No more waiting for October.

Re: March 4th 2018
horror can be both a year round thing and an october challenge thing.

Re: March 4th 2018
Get Out just won Best Original Screenplay. Think that's the first for a horror movie (though Exorcist and sometimes-considered-horror Silence of the Lambs took Adapted Screenplays).
Re: March 4th 2018
hurry up with best director and best picture already.
