This meeting between Trump Jr and the lawyer proves there was no collusion (at least at that point), because if they had meaningful Russian relationships that could influence the election, they would not be sitting with that person to try to get dirt on Hillary.

Nothing so far has indicated an attempt at collusion. Also, nothing is even close to a crime.

This Russia thing has been frothed up to the point where people have lost perspective. Russia is not our enemy. We are not at war with Russia. Imagine the absurdity of "Clinton Campaign meets with Canadian Laywer who claimed to have Trump info!". It is the same thing. Putin walked around the G20 and met other leaders.

The DNC hacking was a crime. If the Trump campaign funded that or cooperated in those efforts, that is a crime. Everyone from Russia is not a spy. Maybe there were bad actors in Russia. Maybe they were independent of the Russian government.

Let's compare the Russia thing with the Obama is a Kenyan Muslim thing.

Obama's eligibility was challenged prior to the election. It was ruled he was eligible. The voters were aware of the charges by the other side. During the primaries, Hillary people tried to imply he was a foreign national and a Muslim. The voters had the info and they made a choice. To me, it was over.

With Trump. We know the DNC was hacked. We do not know by who but we know the Obama admin did not intervene. Russia is declared the prime suspect. Allegations by opponents are made trying to tie Trump to Russia. The voters were aware and elected Trump.

If there is a crime. They need to be charged. If not, we are looking at the new future of politics, where every single person elected will be challenged long after the election and undermined by opponents who lost, including holdovers from the previous government.

"List all of the blonde people you talked to about catering in the last year...". Odds are, if I did remember it would be because there was real substance, not a short waste of time.
