I will say now, if LBJ finds a way to beat this Warriors team with this group, he’s possibly eclipsing MJ as an all time great.
He already beat them when they were 73-9, down 3-1 in the finals. Lol.
With Kyrie Irving and minus Kevin Durant on the other side. But yeah, totally the same. :|
Kyrie barely helped here and there and would be non existent for stretches. Bitchin 3 pointer in game 7, though.

As far as Durcan't, he was too busy blowing his own 3-1 lead in the series prior.

There's a difference between beating a 73 win team and beating a team that won 73 games.

They sound the same, but here's the difference. LeBron beat the Warriors, who won 73 games that season, but there were a lot of key components missing when the Cavs won the final 3 games. Bogut was their main rim protector, great passer for his size and was a starter on that team, they didn't have him for those 3 games. Iguodala, the previous NBA Finals MVP winner, he was so hobbled on that court, especially in game 6, so much that I could feel the pain he was playing with. And then yes, also the Draymond Green suspension.

So sure, LeBron beat the Warriors, who won 73 games that season but he didn't beat THE team that won 73 games. To beat a 73 win team, you need to beat them at full strength, not with two key players injured and one of their stars forced to sit off a game. There were 3 stars on the Cavs, and 3 stars on the Warriors. Factoring in GSW's injuries and suspension, the Cavs should have been expected to win that series.

That does seem inevitable this time. Imagining what might’ve been had LBJ actually had a good support system around him is fun though. When your third scoring option is Tristan Thompson, it’s gonna be a long assed game.

Caps! Surviving that 5 on 3 was impressive, but that save by Holtby with a couple minutes left was legendary.

I didn't think the Caps would come home with a win. Great stick save!

Kyrie averaged 30 points in the last 3 games. What are you doing?

Steph was also not healthy.

I never thought the 73 win team was as good as the team that won the year before. They won a lot of close games, the bench wasn't the same and Steph was playing at a crazy level.

Heel LeBron James needs to make an emphatic return if Cleveland is gonna beat GS again.

Such an excellent officiated game until the refs poured it on Cleveland in the last six minutes. It's like they insist on ruining every game.

Lol. And they literally review a foul and overturn the game on obviously biased bull shit. That was an absolute charge.

Refs continue to pour it on against Cleveland in OT. This is ridiculous.

Refs ruined the game, and JR Smith sure as fuck didn't help either. I think everyone expected a Wario game 1 win, but not like this. Disappointing.
Should be 1-0 Cleveland.

Was an awesome game to watch, but really this series is a joke. It's the Finals and the Warriors treated it like a scrimmage. Played like shit and still get the win. Just really bad for the game of basketball. KD has really ruined what used to be a beautiful, free flowing offense. I have no idea what the fuck he's doing out there most of the time anymore. The Warriors have really come full circle in 5 years. Insert Harvey Dent quote.
