Yes Sir :D I expect the Golden Knights to battle hard the next game.
I'll be surprised if this doesn't go to a game 7.

I'm sure he'll go 1/13 in game 3.

Absurdly inconsistent.

I'm just taking this one game at a time. Last night, it was all Caps.

If the Cavs are gonna get a win, it'll be tonight. I just want one more like game 1.

Tonight, I expect Cleveland to overcompensate for Games 1 and 2 by trapping Steph and letting GS play 4 on 3 the whole game. KD probably getting an easy 35+ points.

They need to get KD up out of Golden State this summer. Has been bad for the league and has made the Warriors less fun to watch. I think Philadelphia would be a really good spot for him.

Let Staph take his wide open misses, trap Klay. Send JR to the liquor store.

Why would they trap the team's 3rd option and let the offense's centerpiece do whatever he wants? That makes zero sense, Jason.

It really doesn't matter what the Cavs try to do now that they have KD, but Steph was by far the true Finals MVP in 2015 just based on Cleveland's defensive coverages opening things up for everyone in Games 4-6. That he got his own on top of that made it even more sensational.

The centerpiece is KD. Klay is the best shooter on the team. Curry is way too inconsistent in the playoffs. Make Curry beat you and let LeBron dictate the pace of the game on offense and defense.

Lol, no he isn't. Steve Kerr's offense runs through Steph's ability to hit threes off the high screen. If they trap, he unloads to Draymond who executes the 4-on-3. There isn't any debate about this, this is their bread and butter. Their most effective play is probably the KD-Steph pick-and-roll, which they don't run anymore for some reason, but that was unstoppable in last year's Finals. And they give KD 5-6 ISO possessions a game which makes them less appealing to watch, but outside of that he is just another piece in Steph's system.

Really, most NBA offenses now revolve around the ability of your ball handler to hit threes off the high screen. That is where the game is at.

The Cavs are fortunate they have the GOAT, but the NBA super team era is diminishing the enjoyment of the sport. Curry is an excellent shooter, and he's probably the 5th best player on the team. Durant is scum for ruining the league even further. If LeBron joins the Warios next year they'll go 82-0 and sweep their way to the finals.

Also, Steph's shooting numbers are better than Klay's across the board, he receives more defensive attention (teams start picking him up just across half court), unlike Klay he shoots both off the dribble and catch, and his shots come from a higher average distance. It's not even close and Klay is the second best shooter in the game.

No. The super teams are good for the sport, it's purely the Durant factor that has fucked everything up.

The Warriors only have four good players, so that's a particularly funny take. Iggy is a corpse.

Super teams are terrible for the sport. The other 28 teams are seeing a significant drop in attendance. People don't want to watch the shit. Next year it's gonna be the Warios vs. wherever LeBron goes again. Pretty gay. I'd rather watch Bern single handedly beat a super team with a group of nobodies again. That's really the only enticing factor at this point.

The 80s are widely considered the NBA's golden era. How many teams went to the Finals that entire decade? Five? Parity is good for football. It's bad for basketball. Unlike football, the talent in basketball can never be close to evenly distributed anyway, why waste time pretending 3 or 4 more teams that don't really have a chance to win a championship do? Why would I want to see anyone but the absolute best players on the court? You can go ahead and pray for a Milwaukee-Utah series if you want. Boooooring.

The only difference between this era and past eras in the NBA is players controlling their own destiny. "Super teams" before the 2000s were just the good GMs beating up on the terrible GMs and plundering them of all their talent for cheap. Now every front office is smart, so the players have to make their own choices.

Also, attendance numbers are up from 10-15 years ago even with 1/3 of the league tanking. More people watch the NBA than ever before and it can pretty much run on autopilot and end up being the most popular sport in America in the future. Yeah, they're doing just fine.
