Jason definitely linked to it a while back. It was without a doubt the creepiest shot of a human being I have ever seen. No hyperbole.

He posted far more frequently on my own message board than HMF. I actually referred him to HMF.

He logged on about a few months or a year after the murder and posted something creepy in the shoutbox. "Miss me? :)" or some shit like that. Never heard from him again.

From the article:

"After being sought as a person of interest, Shingabis called 911 from the ATAC building at Lakehead University the following morning. When police arrested him, Shingabis gave them what appeared to be a confession. "

Lucian was not a student there. He told me he goes to the university because its his only access to the internet. Police were investigating why he was there since he wasn't a student.

"On January 22, 2009, shortly after 5:00 p.m., the mother of Sybil Dawn Stoney telephoned the police because Michael Edward Shingabis wouldn't let her see her daughter. She hadn't spoken to Sybil since January 3rd, and was worried because they'd always kept in close contact. The police went to 126 Bethune Street and found Sybil's body in the bedroom, under some clothes. Michael surrendered to the police the following day and told them he'd killed his common-law partner. He was initially charged with second-degree murder and breaching a probation order. A few months later, he was give the additional charge of indecently interfering with human remains.

On December 5, 2007, he'd been convicted of uttering threats, breaching two court orders and assault causing bodily harm towards Sybil. "He was sentenced to about five months in jail and two years of probation. Michael underwent a thirty-day psychiatric assessment, and the 31-year-old pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. According to a statement of the facts, about two weeks prior to the police finding the woman's body, Michael and Sybil had gotten into an argument. He began punching her, but the 37-year-old didn't fight back. He then placed a pillow over her face, and kept it there for 10 or 15 minutes, because he wanted to make sure she was dead. Court was told Shingabis admitted he continued to sleep with the body for several days. He said he'd "never leave her" and then had intercourse with it on one occasion.

On March 22, 2010, Michael was sentenced to life, and wouldn't be eligible for parole for 14 years. He also got five years for indignity to human remains, which is to be served at thge same time as his life sentence.

So he can be out in about 7 years. He will have a lot of Underworld movies to catch up on.

Liking those movies that much was the first sign he was disturbed.

His chicky was definitely a head case, too. She would make a post on the forum harassing Lucian from time to time. They were weird fucks. But I think she may have had down syndrome or was mentally retarded in some way.

She had to be retarded. Most unintelligible non-troll I've encountered on the internet.

Crazy and also notoriously unfunny. Nobody has ever been worse at telling jokes on the internet as far as I'm concerned. Somehow, I still remember examples of this.

That's right, we have two murderer/serial killer connections here. Lucian murdering his girlfriend, and then Cool Breeze was also good friends with Charles Manson. Never far away from horror on HMF!

For some reason, I believe the Cool Breeze/Charles Manson connection. Dude definitely took a lot of acid back in the day.

I definitely believe Cool Breeze thinks he met Charles Manson anyway.
