Billy Squier would be such an embarrassing pick. Genuinely one of the worst artists of all time.
I understand this take if you've only heard like 5 songs and only the hits.
It was a great call to use Billy Squier’s music in Billy Madison just to illustrate what a dork Sandler was. It doesn’t work with actually good music.
You realize REO just shot into Jason's top 5 now out of spite.
He should have played them at 29, I would have been okay with that.
I like that band 100x more than you and even 29 is too high for me.

Listen to Thru The Window and tell me that isn't a top tier 80s synth night driving jam.
I dig the fuck out of REO, they are on my short list actually.

Come on D, what a more beautiful way to use your override than sticking it to the Beatles! For old time's sake!
Oh it's fuck'n tempting right outta the gate

Work. I'm too poor to risk taking time off for being sick. It sucks.

Hard to blow the only override you got so early, understandable

Yeah. They really are a massively overrated band, and no it's not just a phase. I like some songs, primarily the latter half of their career, but that first half is so cringy awful.

I warmed up pretty good to them over the last 5-10 years. Still wouldn't mention them among favorites. I'm not doubting Beatlemania was indescribably cool to have experienced but all I got are the forest for the trees and there are plenty better.

David Bowie would have been the direct hit in your direction.
