Has there ever been a worse coach for young QBs than Jeff Fisher? Keep him out of the NFL please.

Blair Walsh really is terrible. Glad he is missing in Seattle, though. :D

A+ announcer, btw...

Honestly, yeah, there are tons worse. Jeff Fisher is not a bad coach. He is not a great coach either. He is well respected and competent, but he is not a game changer and the league has probably passed him by a bit.

HUGE story coming out soon about what a disaster things are behind the scenes with the Broncos. The ownership situation is a horror show, multiple scandals, Elway becoming a tyrant with nobody to check him. It's ugly, folks.

Expect it to come out around Black Monday. I expect Village Idiot Vance will be fired on Monday as well.

The NFL is on a massive shortage of decent head coaches. That's really the problem.

Pagano is a bum and the only reason he's still there is that Irsay habitually jumps off the wagon every offseason before he can make changes.

The Colts and Broncos might be the two organizations in the worst shape going forward. Lot of problems from the top down with the horses.

Could have had Sean McVay or Kyle Shanahan last year, but Horse Face fell in love with a village idiot.

Kyle Shanahan after he blew the Super Bowl. No, thanks.

Not a human soul expected Sean McVay to be anywhere near this good. Lol.

Justify hiring Vance. I'd love to hear this.

The Vance hire, and maybe even keeping Vance next year, is because of the NFL's shortage of head coaches.

I thought it was a good signing initially, because he was touted as a great locker room guy with the capability of running a good team, and with a team as talented as Denver, it's not like he'd have to rebuild anything. He inherited a very solid team and absolutely sucked. I'm not into firing coaches after just one season unless 1) there is a better coach available and ready for hire, 2) He inherits a playoff caliber team and turns them into a team qualifying for the top 5 draft pick.

There wasn't a shortage last year. McVay and Shanny have turned two bottom feeding franchises into teams likely to be big players in the next decade. Elway hired the shittiest available candidate and he was his "guy" for three years. Elway is a joke.

We have one of the best defenses in the NFL and an absolute mess on offense with questionable talent/depth at every position. Hey, let's hire the guy who fiercely lead the Dolphins defense to 27th in the league, while bringing in a washed OC whose only success came from riding the coat tails of Hall of Fame QBs. And let's cheap out on paying Wade Phillips even though there's no salary cap on cosching salaries while giving yourself 5 years, 35 million to steer the Titanic into an iceberg. What a great plan, John!

I would imagine the Broncos also felt some pressure to hire a minority head coach. I know they had the interim guy after McD, but race in coaching is always on the NFL radar.

No. Vance had been Elway's guy since 2014.
