Well, they took too long for it sitting in "backorder" without giving me any kind of proper update (telling me "a few days" was not good enough), so I cancelled the order. Felt kinda bad doing it, and damn it is a gorgeous instrument but my patience ran thin by today.

About 20 bottles of hot sauce for a hot sauce gift basket.
The cashier didn't say anything, but her raised crooked eyebrows said "WTF. Is this girl hell bent on burning her butt up?".

One of my packages finally arrived and I couldn't be anymore thrilled. It sucks I missed out on a certain title, but I can't really complain that much.

My big Ebay order that I placed on Dec 5th finally came in. I bought this to keep half and to sell off what I already have to profit/break even. Some of the titles in the keep pile alone made the purchase worth it. I mean, House With Laughing Windows and The Toy Box alone typically sell for close to what I paid for the entire box. Plus, considering if I were to try and buy some of the key titles separately I still would end up paying more in the long run.

New laptop and a spare keyboard for it.

Turns out you need the entire keyboard functioning in order to write without wanting to launch the laptop across the room. And the on screen keyboard is just an annoying piece of shit to have to rely on for certain keys.

Hey...if a proper budget could be drummed up (there are major fx work needed lol) to hire talent (not saying it needs to be Speilbergo or anything, but I don't want some hack who just came off of doing a Geico commercial either) ... I'm not opposed to it :P

I've had trouble thinking of an ideal modern director to tackle it though. I mean, if you can get Zack Snyder under control (i.e. not so much green-screen/cgi, don't let him write the script)...but keep his balls (what WB eventually did with him), he could handle a horror-action influenced romp with visual style. Are there better directors? Duh, sure, but I think he'd fit in best given the fantastical elements, without shilling to the Disney-fied action stuff now (and I'm taking into account of supernatural fantasy on top of action, because if we're just going by pure action thriller type of directors, there's a slew of them, including Kathryn Bigelow...who I don't think would want to do something so unrealistic as Graveslinger these days).

Oooh. James Mangold just popped in my head as a possibility...nails a western vibe in his action too, something I loosely draw from. Though could still be "too fantastical" for him, given The Wolverine and Logan were mostly more grounded than other superhero movies of late.

I would be very demanding of the werewolves being practical FX suits too. I can understand CGI necessary for action sequences, but they need to primarily be suits, damn it ;)

Sorry, got dreaming of movie adaption shit lol
