Dave Toub needs a head coaching job.
Agreed. They are asked to do the most with the least. It is incredibly detail oriented and failures are magnified.

They don't have big egos by nature either. The biases of offensive or defensive gurus often hurt the bottom line and cause locker room problems.

I never believed in the coaching shortage. There is no coaching shortage, there is a shortage of coaches you can sell to people. It is kinda amazing to me how much teams focus on that while not giving a shit what the fans think 90% of the time.

They get caught up in hiring the hot guy this year, instead of looking for the hot guy last year, or tow years ago, or next year. Or someone who is a great coach, but not in a great position. Both Andy Reid and Jon Harbaugh had to basically pad their resumes to become head coaches. Bill Belichick did not suddenly become stupid his last year in Cleveland.
I'm not saying there is a shortage in availability, there is just a shortage in quality. How many good head coaches are there in this league? 10? 20 max?

Hard to come by.

There is no shortage of quality coaches out there. It's just an inefficient market with fan interest hanging overhead.

Oklahoma's offense this year is the best I've ever seen in all my years watching college footnall. Best O-line, QB and receiving corps in the country.

Since Josh Rosen won't make it to #5, would love for Denver to pick Baker Mayfield. Jeff Garcia with a bigger arm and more swagger.

Everyone can't be a winner. In reality, almost every single one is good. Good can look great in the right circumstances or not so good in bad circumstances. Put Peyton Manning of 5 years ago on the Broncos this year, and I guarantee Vance Joseph looks a whole lot better. One player, and a guy goes from borderline blowing his only chance to being entrenched.

Anyone Denver gets at QB will be dead if they don't fix the line.

Using two first round picks in three years on QBs has to be pretty rare.

I bet Cleveland uses their #1 and #4 overall picks on QBs to be safe.

Is there a consensus that he has given up on Lynch to the point where he would go QB again? It really is a defining moment.

Oh yeah. Paxton is complete garbage. There's no hope there.
