Seriously the second story Hearts in Atlantis is seemingly endless and is in the running for Stephen King's worst story ever. I'm in chapter 26 and besides college students playing cards nothing else has happened.

I know there was more to the book, but all I remember is hearts.

Was bordering on torture but I finished that story. How the hell could you make that into a movie?

Finished Hearts in Atlantis. First story was excellent second story was painfully terrible and other 3 were meh. Think I will start Danse Macabre next, Stephen King non fiction.

I can tell from the forenote at the beginning of Danse Macabre that I'm gonna enjoy this book. Stephen King reviews his favorite movies

I was correct, so far it's great. Really gets into the films and books that inspired King as he analyzes what draws people like himself to horror

Figured I'd start up Best Evidence by David Lifton tonight. Because why not? JFK and the Unspeakable is coming in the mail this week and I might be able to burn through it before it arrives.

I'd love an audiobook of this that I can follow along with and flip to pictures as needed. As you read along in this book it sends you to certain pictures for points of reference.

King was a teacher and some of this is like an English class lecture but it would be a class that I looked forward to attending.

I will finish Danse Macabre tomorrow. Next book options are Dolores Claiborne, Rose Madder, Bag of Bones or Under the Dome. Leaning Dolores because it's relatively short for a King novel.
