Really digging Dark Harvest...until the shitty CGI creature FX. It's weird.

Yeah, the cheapy/weird CGi Fx and the bad overacting from the town sheriff keeps Dark Harvest just out of A territory. Curious to read the book now.

Need 2 more films to finish the month with 80. For how chaotic my life is now I will consider it a success.

The power company decided to cut power from my area yesterday for 5 hours, so that sucked ass. All because they're scared of the wind.

Finishing The Houses October Built, since it was cut off about 2/3rds in.

So far this is really good...but it's not quite stacking up to When Evil Lurks, but it's up there.
When Evil Lurks was really good. I didn't like Talk to Me, it was too by the numbers Witchboard shiz like you said and I didn't like the lead, she was annoying. Actually all the characters were. I guess I'm not meant to hang out with the hip Australians.

I'm not liking how Houses October Built 2 is cheapening the ending to the first film, and all the guys are acting like nothing really happened. It's just a weird disconnect.

The fact that one of the stalkers Sideshow-Bob'd their way with the RV is utterly hilarious and kills any attempt at suspension this movie was trying to build up lol.

I'll just choose to pretend that The Houses October Built 2 doesn't exist, that was aggravating and really backstabbed the first flick.
Now watching OG Halloween. Alli closes tomorrow, so she won't be home tomorrow for it, so she wanted to watch it tonight. That was cool with me, I'll just have Halloween II as my capstone tomorrow night.

It Follows is probably my favorite horror movie of the 2010s. Didnt need a sequel and I'm not expecting it to be as good as the original, but that's a midnight theater viewing for sure if they still exist by then.

Re-Animator tonight. The last couple days of the challenge usually entail 5 star flicks. This is certainly one of them.

Finishing up the month with The New Mutants, Halloween, Trick 'r Treat, and Halloween III: Season of the Witch.
Ending ar 75 seems like a nice number.
