I rewatched that Super Bowl a million times, but when I go back and watch it, it really feels like I travel back in time. I get nervous still even though I have every play memorized. I've rewatched Super Bowl 50 and relived the exhilaration but I don't get nervous or anxious like I do with Super Bowl XXXII. So blessed to have experienced that as a fan in the golden era of football. Nothing will ever come close to that experience. It was the perfect day.

And all those shit talking poser Cowboys and 49ers fans at school who shit on the Broncos all the time on the playground had to eat shit from me for two straight years. Suck ittttttt

In 1997 I was working night shift 6:30pm to 5am Sunday through Thursday. Every day was at least 10 hours back breaking work. On Super Bowl Sunday they let us come in that morning and do our 10 hours. I got home at 5pm and passed out right before kickoff. Missed Favre beating the Pats. I was devastated

Yeah it meant a lot more to the old heads because I had no memory of the 80s Super Bowls. Still awesome.

My peak fandom is when I was a kid and Elway was the QB. I never loved football more in my entire life. Football began feeling different in the 1999 season because the Broncos had a QB not named John Elway. It was the weirdest feeling ever.

My Dad is not much older than Elway, around the same age-ish, from Colorado, his mom was one of the first ever season ticket holders. As happy as I was, I know he was probably twice as happy as I was. He is a very reserved, laid back guy. When John Mobley broke up that pass to seal the Super Bowl he ran out the door screaming. He'd never done anything like that before or after since. lol.

The Ravens game was the worst for me. For the Seahawks SB I was with some college friends and was so fucking blitzed off pregame bong rips I couldn’t even fully process the nightmare in front of me.

Honestly, that game is worse for me than losing the Super Bowl to the Seahawks. Eliminating the Pats was a big enough win, but the blowout was easier to swallow than losing in heartbreaking fashion.

Rahim Moore needed to be deported from Colorado by the time overtime began.

Super Bowl XVI Niners beat Bengals is the first Super Bowl I remember clearly watching and the Super Bowl party at my grandparents house in the now war zone known as West Baltimore. I was at other Super Bowl parties before that but I was too little to care about the game
