If there is a dispute of facts, and one person has a history of integrity and the other person does not, are you saying it is not normal to then look into elements of the story to help confirm the truth?

In this case, likely the only issue is intent. Intent and character certainly interplay. Did she go to his home with the intent of executing him? Or did she make a stupid mistake? Our justice system treats the situations differently. No one is saying she is innocent, the question appears to be what crime?

You are aware that many of the people carelessly speeding don't think any pedestrians are around until they hit one?

And yes, if you hit a pedestrian, the speed you were going matters.

what facts are in dispute? is it in dispute that it was his home she trespassed into? is it in dispute that the given reason was mistaking his home for her own? what drugs he happened to do is irrelevant to this case, altogether.
