That one has really grown on me. I was very disappointed when it came out. I watched it about a year ago, and I quite enjoyed it.

Watched Dracula's Daughter (1936) for the first time. Had no idea it took place immediately following the events of the 1931 movie, so that was cool. Pretty decent movie.

Watching Demon Seed, 1977. Its a little better than I thought it was gonna be. I always avoided it because I thought it was based on an Agatha Christie story. But it is Julie Christie the actress who is in it. Doh! Lmao

I liked it a lot. The Peacock app has a bunch of Universal Movies for free with ads. They are only like 40 seconds long.

One thing I noticed this viewing is Megan Fox is really good in it.

I noticed that, and that is in fact where I watched it from. I think I'll watch a couple others from that app. I was raised on Universal horror, but I'm severely lacking when it comes to the sequels of those classics. Now might be a good time to get some out of the way.

I've never seen the third one. I keep planning to watch that and Dark Tower (1987) on the same day, but I've not made it to that point yet.

So here's a funny story about havok's list:
I saw that he had La Muerte Del Chacal (1984) listed, and I looked it up, then noticed there was a sequel called Masacre en Río Grande (1988). Now, Masacre en Río Grande only has 15 votes on IMDb, so I was going to tongue-in-cheek ask if he was going to be watching La Muerte Del Chacal's sequel.
And now what do I see?
12.) Masacre En Rio Grande (1988) 83 minutes

Interesting premise but not particularly well done in my opinion. The cast was a constant annoyance for me.

It's like Wicker Man, Burnt Offerings, other somewhat slow-burns of that nature. In fact, the film is based on a play written by Robert Marasco, who also wrote Burnt Offerings.
It's rare to see a movie that has such an oppressive atmosphere. Child's Play may not be the best movie I see this month, but if it's not in the top 5 memorable, I'll eat my countertops.
Sidney Lumet has a knack for the oppressive atmosphere.

He is the guy that made Ned Beatty of all people intimidate an entire film with one scene. So yeah I agree lol.
