lol, that's harsh. We don't really snack much at the table, but at the gameshop we go to, the surrounding area is nothing but fastfood and hole-in-the-walls.Slaughterhouserock wrote:I game with stereotypical gamers, so there's all sorts of junk food. Love pumpkin pie. I usually have problems with the crust. I hate dry store-bought crust that's like drywall.

Yeah, great job, man! I had an interview for 2nd shift plant manager a couple weeks ago. Haven't heard anything, yet. But they take a really long time to decide who they want. The main plant supervisor said he already chose me. Just have two more people to please.showa58taro wrote:Cheers Foo. Climbing the old ladder.Foo wrote:Congrats Seb!

I just came back from Black Thursday/Friday and wanted to mention some of the ass backwards pricing Wal-Mart had on stuff. So, the standard dvd of Kong Skull Island was $7.96, but the Blu Ray/dvd combo was $5.96. Shouldn't that be the other way around? Almost as bad as FYE when I picked up Cherry Tree awhile back. The Dvd was $19.99 and the Blu-ray was $6.99.

No, sir. They are deliberately trying to phase out DVD.Havok wrote:I just came back from Black Thursday/Friday and wanted to mention some of the ass backwards pricing Wal-Mart had on stuff. i think it's more that they are trying to keep blu-ray afloat. both are on the way out. sadly.Jason wrote:No, sir. Nope. As long as streaming is iffy, as it always is, physical media will be around for a while.zombie wrote:i think it's more that they are trying to keep blu-ray afloat. both are on the way out. sadly.Jason wrote:No, sir. yeah, we have a few years, still. but it's coming. blu-ray is trying to stay afloat. even, often giving both dvd and blu-ray copies for cheap in the same box.Jason wrote:Nope. Cherry Tree had a pretty interesting story and some good gore/creature effects.I think I liked the Director's other film Wake Wood better, but it's still a worthwhile watch to see how everything progresses to it's unique climax.zombie wrote:how is cherry tree?
