When the hiring process becomes anything other than hiring the most qualified and safest person for the job, you are increasing the risk of death drastically. This isn't about blaming minorities or women.

Here's an example. In the NFL, the cornerback position is dominated by black men. The reason for this is because the typical athleticism of black men is suited highly to positions like this. If the NFL were to create a DEI program to make half the NFL cornerbacks white, the talent pool of the cornerback position would drop dramatically. DEI is fooling people into thinking those who oppose it just hate minorities or women.

advertising that you're hiring women does not mean that you're hiring unqualified women. i need proof before i assume that a woman is unqualified for the job. the reason to make it a big political issue is so that companies hire white men instead of minorities and women. it is a way to associate women or minorities as unqualified. you're not doing that, but the sources you often link are doing that.

Were airlines ever refusing to hire female pilots? The differences lie in the extremes. An example can be that there are certainly plenty of women that are stronger than plenty of men. But if you take the 10,000 strongest people in the world, every single one of them will be men. And when it comes to operating commercial aircraft and things of that nature, you can't just lower the qualification process because you want to hire a lesbian female or a gay dude because there aren't enough gay people flying planes, etc...

This isn't a straw man at all. Flying commercial aircraft is an elite position and requires elite talent. When you lower the qualification process to pretend you're trying to be diverse, your intentions don't matter, you've made it immeasurably less safe and this isn't even an opinion.

Make as many false assumptions about my intentions as you'd like. You looked right past my point when I used the cornerback position to reverse DEI. The point is that if the NFL were to choose to be diverse in the cornerback position and make it more white, it would water down the talent pool dramatically.
Hint: Lowering your qualifications to be inclusive = an increase in lesser qualified individuals.

My argument is that lowering qualifications in the name of diversity is dangerous, so the blanket accusation of me saying women and minorities can't fly planes and I'm only doing this to tear them down is completely fucked up and you can go ahead and fuck yourself with that comment.
