Yes. my grandfather was in WWII and my father was at training camp, but got sick, and had to leave (much to his disappointment).
Also, some high school friends also went the military route, because from their perspective, they had no other choice. What a great thing. *rolls eyes*
Why are you rolling your eyes? Because of their ignorance? You and millions of others prove that was not their only choice. But luckily their own perspective and feelings led them to that choice, versus being forced into it like a lot other countries do with any able bodied male at their disposal.
I thank your grandfather for his service and will gladly stand to salute him and what he sacrificed for us, btw.
Truth be told, I was pretty young when my grandfather died, so I regret to say I don't remember any of his stories, because at the time, I wasn't interested in that type of stuff. One of my bigger regrets, alas.
I can relate, I missed out on my great grandfather's stories and even my grandfather didn't really want to go into them, at least with me.
So I guess we come to my point in, that you can disagree with the way the country is ran and going, the politics, the injustice, but do you think you could stand for the Anthem at least once to honor your grandfather and all those who fought beside him?

I can honor him and what he fought for myself without giving the impression I have any semblance of patriotism, which is something I think is implied when someone stands for the Anthem.

Steelers stayed in the locker room. Even stronger statements. Impressive.

Except for the one who actually served his country. Even more impressive. Bigly impressive. Now I can't piss over all of Steelers-ville. Go Bengals!

Villanueva? Yeah that’s his right. Good for him.
I’d say Trump has finally done something good. Bring together the oppressed in opposition to his stupidity.

I'm kneeling in protest of their shitty performance today and the shitty officiating. I reckon I might actually stop wqtching football, to be honest.

I'll continue to enjoy our great players who took a knee this morning. Lot of fans in the stadium were audibly booing...pretty unpatriotic behavior there.

So, you are not gonna watch football because some players are doing something you don't like? Why not watch it for those you agree with? You conservative hippie.

I am sure they stand and remain silent when they are at home. Oddly, I actually do, lol. This is what gets me.....hipocrites.

It's a tough spot for Jason because damn near every good player on the team kneeled. He can still root for Derek Wolfe and Garett Bolles I guess. Apparently the team was blasting a song aptly titled "Fuck Donald Trump" in the locker room before they came out for the anthem. Kudos to Elway knowing how to manage a team and putting his politics aside.

The NFL has been going to shit since Tuck Rule. Gets worse every year. Players being cunts is the icing on the cake. Football's ratings are plummeting for a reason. Will continue to plummet when a bunch of multi-millionaires disrespect the country that provided them with a great life.

And kudos to the team for playing a great game and putting their politics aside. Oh wait. Lol.

Your excuse for this loss is politics? No, they got outplayed in a tough road game. Are you going to stop rooting for Von Miller, Chris Harris, Aqib Talib, DT, Emmanuel Sanders etc?
