Seb. Dude. Check this out. I'm a truck driver, right? I work the morning shift. I drive a big ass cement mixer. We got word a few months back that we'll be doing a night job for a week or two for a big retail outlet. They're building a warehouse. Josh really is a sleaze ball. But I think it's all about self-preservation in this case. No veteran players on another team will buy into that twerp creating a culture of 100% negative reinforcement like in New England. His only chance at success as a HC in the NFL is in an environment where that negative culture is already established and successful.

He should not be taking any heat over this. Contracts are in writing for a reason.

Not gonna say it happened all the time, but over the years, I experienced several situations because of the lag between an oral and a written agreement. Very rarely was it as simple as either party wanted you to believe.

I blame the NFL. Much of what you describe is their creation. If you can have handshake agreements, why not allow them to be in writing and binding? He is taking the heat, but what if the Colts changed some of the terms? What if they suddenly began to show some signs that they would be difficult?

Is he lucky, or did he earn it? He will go down as a great coordinator due to his success. He may never be a great head coach, but Belechick was viewed differently after being fired by Cleveland too.

The NFL knows nothing of loyalty or integrity.
