Get a ride to and from work. On Thursday, on the way back home after dropping me off, my mother hit a deer, really messing up the car. Something like two to three thousand dollars of damage or something like that.

Got a ride home Thursday from a nice guy at work (who, on a side-note, has a quite attractive sister), but couldn't make it into work Friday. Uncle is now in town with his family, so I got to work today fine, but still, I'm not caring for this situation.

Hopefully the car will be repaired by tomorrow, because as much as I like the concept of extended family, I just don't care for them all that much. Not that I don't hugely appreciate what they're doing for me.

Generally, I think that Emily Perkins is the cuter of the two from Ginger Snaps.

I can wait on Solo. Probably watch it in a few weeks, rather than this weekend. I'm in no hurry.

i think i'm more interested in the less jedi-centric star wars stuff. but that could only be because rogue one was so good. it could be just a fluke kind of thing. we'll see.

I struggle to see the point if there's no Force/Jedi/Sith stuff because then it winds up being like any other sci-fi fantasy world. I'm not saying don't make'em, I just look at some people all perplexed when they say "make more without the Jedi stuff" like, why remove the one big thing that sets it apart from the rest? It's Halloween without Michael Myers killing. Sure, the occasional one worked (albeit the love came later), but it's not what I think of when it comes to the franchise.

Though Rogue One still kinda had it in there, so it wasn't completely absent of the stuff.

I'm mostly venting because of different friend said a similar thing.

i didn't mean devoid of jedi, just not jedi-centric. i think you can still set it apart.
