Happy Friday. I just woke up with a strong burning sensation in my stomach. Vomiting shit loads of blood now. Pure blood.

What the fuck are you posting for? Get to the hospital. It's probably just a bleeding ulcer, but vomiting blood is pretty serious, especially with you being on a blood thinner.

also, gross, but if you can get a sample of the vomit, take it with you.

I vomited, posted that, felt light headed and laid down for a minute, puked more blood, and left. I can feel my stomach filling up with blood before I puke it up.

Next time you should definitely leave before posting. The only acceptable excuse for posting before leaving is no access to someone with a car to drive you to the hospital and you're waiting for an ambulance to get to your house.

Judging by the size of this cup I puked in, I'm estimating about 44oz of puke. :p

chunky probably means it's starting to coagulate, so that's a good thing.

Did you show them? That should get you moved up in the triage list, especially if they know you're on blood thinners, unless there's like a multi-vehicle horrendous accident in the area.

They know I'm on blood thinners. They did a blood test and waiting on doctor approval for what procedures to do next.

Not sure if this is an alarming amount of blood or not.

chances are it looks worse than it is. I mean, I've filled a sink with blood from a nosebleed and had the doctor shrug, but I wasn't on blood thinners or anything. 44-ounce container holding stomach contents, I'd wager about 1/6th of it is actual blood and the rest is stomach acid, which is being overproduced and causing the bleeding.

Fun note, I just read something that pretty much makes me want to completely fucking give up on the idea of any kind of hope for humanity still having any kind of a conscience.

My alcohol intake has increased the last few weeks. I'm thinking that might be a factor
